MY opinion on burning the Qu'Ran

Burning the Qu'Ran is not being done by any church or Christian! It's a religious terrorist trying to incite riot thru warped Christianity!

For anyone not up on this story copy and paste this link:

Pastor McClurkin I strongly agree with your view point. This exhibit is a prime example of a segment of your broadcast last night, not only Christians but people in general taking the Word of God out of context and using it for their own ideology. The Word of God states that it is His desire that no man should perish and the all famous John 3 16 Jesus was sent by God Almighty for the entire world not a certain denomination or church. God the Father is the judge of all Psalm 82 8. We are called to walk peaceably with all men and to love one another. As the body of Christ steps into their rightful place of dominion and power lifting up the name of Jesus Christ son of the living God all men will be drawn to Him asking what must I do to be saved, and as ambassadors we should welcome them in with open arms teaching by living the Word of God.

It's very simple for me - Love the Lord your God with all of your heart and your neighbor as yourself.

I believe a Christian should not participate in these acts bbecause God has taught us to love accordiing to 1 Corinthians 131-8a and 13 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails....And now these three remain faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love

I am in total agreement with you Pastor Donnie..it is rendering evil for evil.It is not necessary..it is provocative and incites retaliation. This Pastor here in Florida is on an ego trip.

Hi Pastor Donnie! Well here is my opinion, whether he be a terrorist or not, I know not, but one thing I know is TRUE Christianity is not just a title we call ourselves, but it is a matter of the heart. A heart that respects and loves his fellow man because our God is love. I absolutely do not agree with the burning of the Quran because you are against someone's religion. God is the creator of all things and He chose to give us a free will. God does not make us follow him, neither is He intimidated by anyone who choses not to follow him. The terrorist who were involved in the 9/11 bombings did not represent the entire Islamic faith and this man does not represent or speak on behalf of our faith (Christianity). Many Christians have spoken out against this act and I think we are right to do so. Now I know this was not a part of your question, but I would also like to add that I do not agree with the Muslims plan to build a Mosque near Ground Zero either. I think it would be a slap in the face to the thousands and thousands of people who were affected by the bombings. Even if these muslim terrorists did not represent the whole of the Muslim religion, they were muslims and to put a Mosque there, to me, would be somewhat insensitive. That's my take! Be Blessed Everyone!

This action has only position real believers to continue to fast and pray. If this pastor really had the heart of God he would know this is wrong. This topic is bigger than we think.

I believe the Church or christians should concentrate on preaching and spreading the gospel rather than attacking other religions. Our God is more than able to fight His own battles. We need to focus all our attention and efforts on reaching the unreached. The Qu'Ran burning is definitely not part of the Great Commission!

This group of christians has already ignited anger and controversy all over the world. One of my Muslim colleagues calls this act futile, disgraceful and disrespectful. My prayer is that Pastor Jones' plans to carry out this disgraceful act fail dismally.

This talk about burning the Qu'Ran has already ignited anger and controversy all over the world. If it is carried forth, it will incite people (Muslims) to radical, violent behaviour. We need to pray very strongly against it. It makes me very sad.

This man trying to burn the Qu'Ran, is strictly doing so for his selfish reasons. This man is doing the opposite of what our God represents. God Bless you Pastor McClurkin.

God want us to love each other!! He made mankind in His image and in His likeness.Because He is love, we have no choice. So every real christian, and I mean around the world, let us pray and speak the love Of God into the hearts of those planning to burn the quran, because if they proceed it will start a riot, and lead to unnecessary damage.

Religious crusaders were there long before Al Qaeda and the difference is the same. they were there in the 11th,12th and 13th centuries doing what they are doing today. true believers ought to pray.

Honestly, all I could see was a man blinded with himself and wondered what his true angle was (attention/popularity, a larger congregation/following?). I saw him feeding a fire already burning. And when I saw how obstinate he was and how he'd influenced his younger associate pastor, I got on my knees and walked my floors pleaded the Blood and declared in Jesus name, This is not going to Happen That our God will not let this happen I felt many Christians across the nation were also praying. in knowing that, I also knew, This is not going to happen not if true Christians have anything to do with it. I wondered if he even opened the Qu'Ran and read any of it? I really thought like saints of old use to say, he had the devil in him, not the will of God. But what really can I say, Ive had my blind self willed moments too. Maybe not as extreme and crazy as this, but evil sure can blind us to total foolishness sometimes. I just saw the devil all up in this, thats why all I could do was pray and plead The Blood.
